Text Box:  SUMMER READING PROGRAM       John Stahl Library is planning a delicious summer reading program for children this year.  The theme is “ICE CREAM FOR BOOKS : BOOKS COME IN ALL FLAVORS”. The children will be reading books of their choice to help us build the biggest ice cream cones in the world!!!  Our older readers (4th grade and older) will also be able to solve mysteries and puzzles while reading books of their choice to earn points needed to be invited to the BIG PARTY.      Starting the week of  June 2nd, children are invited to come into the library and register for the program and receive details on the summer reading requirements.  The first 200 children will receive a goodie bag filled with surprises.  This year’s summer reading program will run from June 2nd until July 19th.      All qualified readers will be invited to a program given by the Omaha Children’s Museum.  Their program “Insectagations” July 29th at 2:00 pm at the West Point City Auditorium.  At this time all the qualified readers will be acknowledged for their hard work on this years program and receive a certificate and their rewards. completing their assignments.                                                                      Text Box:     John A. Text Box: PRESCHOOL AGE STORY HOUR   The preschool age story hour will be held every Tuesday morning from 10:00 am until 10:30 am during the months of June and July.  Our first story hour of our new year will be September 2nd.   The calendar for summer preschool story hour  is as follows: June 3-Dairy Day June 10- Hats!!!
